Atkinsons Tulipe Noire

This smelled amazing when sprayed on test strips in an airport. It smelled fine in the air. When sprayed on me, it had an overly musky and slightly mop water resembling odor to it that I just couldn't get over. It also required multiple sprays to notice it. Someone did smell it on me at a grocery store and pulled me aside to tell me I smelled amazing, but I can't get used to this one. It's highly rated, but hard to find in stores in the US so I recommend getting a sample vial of this before paying for the full bottle. It's not for everyone. It's my first unisex scent (I'm male) and the bottle and design are beautiful, but I just couldn't shake the mop water scent. Maybe I got a bad batch. That said, I highly recommend the FragranceNet subscription service. The travel sprays are a great value and you can sort them so you get summer fragrances that are citrusy in the hot weather and woody, leathery, smokier scents in the winter season. I'm so glad I decided to purchase the subscription service!
