Tribeca is a beautiful, light, and airy scent designed to be an intimate skin scent rather than a powerful projector. It’s a personal experience for the wearer to enjoy, which may not appeal to everyone, especially given its luxury price point. I was so grateful that FragranceNet offered a sample, allowing me to try it before committing to a full purchase.

Tribeca is a molecule-woody-nutty scent with an airy sweetness. The hazelnut and woody notes are noticeable from the opening and I also detect the jasmine sambac, which has a light and airy sweetness as opposed to the dense sweetness of jasmine grandiflorum. I also get a slight bitterness from the cacao and a cool crisp freshness from the moss. The caramel note doesn't smell gourmand; rather, it enhances the sweetness of the jasmine sambac. There is also a heavy dose of ambroxan, which combined with the airy sweetness may remind you of BR540, but I don't think they are very similar apart from that. Overall I would say Tribeca is easily unisex, but perhaps leans slightly more feminine. I love Tribeca's light and airy texture, which makes it so easy and enjoyable to wear.
