D.S. & Durga Notorious Oud

This is a great and unique fragrance. Once it dries down, the Civet and papyrus base notes are slightly overpowering and the rose and lavender become faint because of it. However, I paired it with either Byredo Eyes Closed or Tom Ford Cafe and they add new life to either combination. I'm sure there are many more I can pair it with, and that's the best part of this fragrance - the animalic dominance leaves this scent with an open canvas to experiment with layering and creating your own unique scent. Most other fragrances have a more pronounced balance, so they are not as easy to find a good combination to pair them with. That's the main reason I chose this one, and if you are open or new to layering, this is the scent for you. Great sillage and longevity as well!
