Ines de la Fressange Fragrances

Ines de la Fressange is a world-famous, French-born fashion model. The daughter of an Argentine model and a French banker, de la Fressange made a name for herself during the 1980s when she signed the first exclusive modeling contract with a fashion house, Chanel. Her fame grew exponentially when Karl Lagerfield, Chanel's creative director, publicly referred to her as his muse.

After a widely publicized fallout with Lagerfield, de la Fressange parted ways with Chanel. She went on to model for several other fashion houses across the world. She also is the official model for Marianne, an allegory for the French Republic. Under this contract, de la Fressange's face adorns French postage stamps and municipal buildings. Although she and Lagerfield have rekindled their friendship, as of 2014, de la Fressange has not returned to modeling for Chanel.

In 2011, de la Fressange published, ""Parisian Chic: A Style Guide."" The highly celebrated book sold more than 100,000 copies in its native France, and was also well-received in the United States.

Ines de la Fressange released her first, self-titled women's fragrance in 1999. In 2004, she debuted another women's fragrance, Ines de la Fressange 2004.

The model and author is now a fashion designer for Uniqlo garments, and her ready-to-wear collection signifies the model's love of ""lived-in"" fashions that are just as elegant as they are comfortable.
