This is the summer scent that’s excited me the most this season. Perfect on a scorching day. Best bergamot freshie I’ve come across. Identifiably bergamot. Potent bergamot. The first bergamot to make me think of Earl Grey tea. Like a half bergamot / half lemongrass Arnold Palmer. I’m absolutely cuckoo for the scent of lemongrass - but there’s no lemongrass in this. A laundry list of notes make up this composition, but if I were told it was purely bergamot and lemongrass, I’d believe it. As the fragrance evolves it turns a bit floral, soapy, and creamy, but the punchy citruses are present thoughout the entire wear. I don’t get woody or spicy. Perhaps some ginger after learning it’s in there. Slight black pepper in the dry down. Powerful and long-lasting on me. Lovely and fun. Pleasant and natural. Bright, tart, refreshing, gets your spirits high.

FULL BOTTLE WORTHY. This is the summer scent that’s excited me the most this season. It’s perfect on this 95°F day. Best bergamot freshie I’ve come across. Identifiably bergamot. Potent bergamot. The first bergamot to make me think of Earl Grey tea. Like a half bergamot/half lemongrass Arnold Palmer. I’m absolutely cuckoo for the scent of lemongrass. But there’s no lemongrass in this. A laundry list of notes make up this composition, but if I were told it was purely bergamot and lemongrass, I’d believe it. The punchy citruses blend and subdue a bit as the fragrance evolves and turns a bit floral, soapy, and creamy, but they’re present thoughout the entire wear. I don’t get woody or spicy. Perhaps some ginger after learning it’s in there. Slight black pepper in the dry down. I’ll do a side-by-side comparison with Maison Matine Poom Poom. I think that’s what this reminds me of. I recall liking Poom Poom, but I’ll go Team M+G Bergamot; I had a much more intense Love At First Sniff sensation with this one. It’s a powerful and long-lasting citrus on me. Lovely and fun. Pleasant and natural. Bright, tart, refreshing. Some sparkle for your spirits.
