Segrato Viola is a soft, unassuming violet fragrance. It’s a pretty linear violet floral scent. The dominant scent is the violet leaves that can be picked up right away in the opening. As it dries down I can detect a little rose and a mild earthy base of moss. I don’t smell the jasmine or the patchouli. Maybe some of the other notes will come out with time and give it more depth. The nice thing about Khadlaj fragrances is that they don’t require maceration and are typically ready to wear. I own roughly 40 of their fragrances and wasn’t going to pass this one up for under $15. The bottle is pretty basic and kind of disappointing. It looks like something from the 80’s. Khadlaj usually puts more into presentation. Overall I would call this profile a mass appealing, soft floral scent that will be beautiful in the hotter months. It lingers, but doesn’t dominate like other violet scents I’ve tried (Ajmal Violet Musc). If you are someone who gets overwhelmed by too many competing notes often seen in Arabian fragrances, you will like this one.
