I was gifted a heavily bottle of Champagne in the 1980s. It was a gorgeous bottle; golden stars shone all over it and the cap was black in the shape of a half moon. Then the first spray....OMG have never, ever forgotten it. As others have, I learned that France file a lawsuit against Yves St. Lawrence over the use of the name "Champagne". How stupid! Perfume is not an alcohol beverage, trademark or not. Silly beyond. So now the once magically bottled fragrance is reduced to an absolutely unaffordable tiny bottle with a randomish name....this perfume truly was a fragrance beyond the 'noses' of current synthetic fragrance manufacturers. Nothing like a bottom of the barrel value of the dollar to take away the few persona enjoyments in life.

This is a very soft, subtle, fruity fragrance which will be especially good for warm weather wear. Usually I am not drawn to fruit scents but this one is surprisingly sophisticated, not too sweet and skillfully blended.
