Enjoy a unique scent that evokes visions of exotic Chinatown streets with Bond No. 9 Chinatown by Bond No. 9. This complicated fragrance begins with an intense spicy scent created by top notes of bergamot, peach blossom, and guaiac wood gardenia. As the fragrance dries down, other scents emerge, including vanilla, sandalwood, and orange flower. This smooth process results in a scent that always seems to present a new aroma. The fragrance, introduced in 2005, was created for casual use by both men and women.

Chinatown opens with a tart blast of peach, peony and tuberose. As it mellows on the skin, it evolves and the gardenia and woody notes take center stage. In it's final dramatic breath, the scent of patchouli weaves between the ever-present tuberose and a distinct spiciness which I assume is the cardamom. A scent that is both dramatic (tuberose and gardenia) and subtle (woods and patchouli) that has the uncanny ability to evoke the presence of Chinatown itself; fresh fruits, lacquered woods and flower shops.

Chinatown is a unique and lovely scent. I was surprised that it is considered "unisex" because, to me, it is a woman's fragrance. Perfect for fall. Glad I bought it - love the bottle too!
