An exuberant mix of warm, spicy and deep notes, Ambre Sultan is an intense fragrance. Designed for both men and women, the fragrance is from the design house of Serge Lutens and was introduced in 2000. The fragrance opens with scents of Coriander, Bay Leaf, and Sandalwood. The scent continues to be intense with notes from Angelica, Resins, Myrrh, Oregano, Myrtle and Amber. Whiffs of Patchouli, and Vanilla captivate the senses for a soothing and lasting fragrance.

A beautiful and classic amber. Opens herbaceous but dry down smooth. It’s a benchmark for a reason! The bottles are smaller so I ended up getting two.

I’m in love with this fragrance. My former fragrance was discontinued years ago (Donna Karan’s Chaos) and nothing delivered the amazing smell that it had. After trying many a fragrance, I found this. It’s sensual, warm and complex without being overpowering. The best!

Wore this one time. I loved it so much I ordered a full bottle right away. This is not like other ambers- the way it warms on the skin is so cozy and divine.

Ambre Sultan is a photorealistic amber. A hint of angelica, coriander, myrtle, bay and myrrh add dimension and depth. Other ambers pale in comparison.
