Customer Reviews

I started using lotus oil since I was 18 because I had so many acne’s now I’m 63 and I’m still using my face look great. Most of the time new products give skin reaction that doesn’t mean it not going to work. I’m very happy with Clarins products specially lotus oil.

Hello I am quite curious and perplexed as to your acenic reaction from this treatment oil for oily skin. First was your skin simply too oily and that is why you purchased in in the first place? Skin is the largest organ on the body and skin science and treatment is not a simple one fits all as the actual biome, acid mantle and skin PH condition all plays vital roles in the overall health. What i believe may have happened is the oil treatment caused the skin to go into a complex cycle called "purging" This is where the skin is finally able to adapt to the correct treatment of the skin without stripping the skin of it's natural protective sebum. This getting the oil into balance which will cause the underlying levels of the dermis to heal back to a more balanced state. This often includes a purge cycle which can result in some serious acne from the toxins coming from deep traped pores. This is often temporary and can be managed using other non stripping healing skincare from cleaning, toning, exfoliating, mask and hydrating as well as specific oily skin SPF. It takes time, quite a bit because you're skin is completely renewing itself back from damage caused by the wrong skin care routine that says it's for oily skin but just confuses your skin by drying it out so it overcompensates. It can be complex but with this you may be on your way much healthier skin. Also a nutritional supplement for skin is also quite effective

It caused acne a lot, and it did not absorb well into my face. Although it smells good, it destroyed my skin, caused inflammation. Had to use acne treatment to heal. I strongly don't recommend it, although it says fit for oily skin, be careful.
