I've never smelled the original, but if this is close I can see why it was popular before it was pulled from some markets the way YSL loves to do. This was actually my first Lattafa and a blind buy based on its profile and influencer reviews, and I'm not disappointed.

Lattafa Al Nashama Caprice is a strong “value-for-money” fragrance that delivers a clean-fresh-spicy profile with good versatility and decent performance for its price. It’s not a blockbuster “smoky-oud beast,” but for someone seeking an easy, wearable, everyday/unisex scent with a slightly powdery-soapy charm — and especially if you like that aromatic-spiciness + lavender/amber vibe — it’s definitely worth trying. If you go into it expecting a heavy, bold, complex perfume, you might want to try a sample first.
