For Maison Alhambra The Chant

I have owned Anais Anais and I own Gucci, this fragrance is not a dupe of either. It stands alone as a calm creamy sweet rose. Very reminiscent of my childhood fragrance Anais Anais but not quite. There is something sensual yet gentle about this scent that makes me feel luxurious. Will buy again for sure and will probably blind buy more from the fragrance maker.

The Chant Smells like Anais Anais - white floral with soft green notes and hint of powder.

I'm amending my earlier review. I bought this as a blind buy. When first opened, oh wow, something strong and sour was revealed. I put it on shelf to macerate (?) and, 2 - 3 weeks later it's absolutely DIVINE! I LOVE it. It's Rose. It's not too sweet or cloying, it has spice! My first review was how it was awful to my nose but it's not been posted so hopefully it won't be. To all you "discerning" noses out there, let a scent set awhile then retry. Live and learn.

This is a perfect dupe of the Gucci one. So feminine, unique and silky. Love for first sniff.

Surprising how realistic the plumeria (frangepani) note was on 1st spray. It’s a warm (not vanilla or benzoin) yellow floral/night-blooming jasmine.
