Aliage from Este Lauder is a women's fragrance launched in 1972 as a fresh woody scent with green overtones for evening wear. The green notes and citruses provide an opening reminiscent of fruit orchards and wide fields. The woody aroma only intensifies after dry down, with middle notes of pine and Brazilian rosewood serving as the heart of the scent. A base note of oakmoss provides a heady undertone, adding to the scent's woody nature as the initial fruit opening slowly fades into the background.

An absolute timeless fragrance. It has been around for a long time and defines a woman perfectly. It is a shame that Aliage is so hard to come by considering its popularity and the number of women that remain faithful to it year after year!!

Review of Aliage
I have loved this scent since college in the mid 70s. I too loved the lotion which was discontinued. I think I also had a roll on purse size applicator. Wish they would expand the line. The parfum lasts longer when you can layer it over the lotion. I like the scent because it's earthy and can be worn for day, evening or casual times.

Review of Aliage
Aliage is a powdery green fragrance that is a refreshing coolness in the hot, humid summer. It is also a green-meadow scent for the spring and fall. It is unique and wonderful any time of the year. Perfume makes a lasting impression in the classroom where you spend your day in close proximity to children in all states of personal odor conditions. I have always found Aliage to be a wonderful tool for creating a refreshing example of a perfume that makes the children say, "Are you wearing perfume? That smells great!"
