Review of Habit Rouge
I bought this fragrance based on the ratio of positive to negative on a different site, and am utterly and completely shocked. This fragrance is good for what it is, if you are a 50+ year old man(or woman really). YES, it smells just like an old man, who puts on a very potent fragrance, and sprays 10 sprays too many! Not for me, but maybe in another 30 years I will like it. However, the strange thing is, this fragrance received much higher reviews than a more recent release of "HOMME". Now this is a shocker, and I think the latter is way better!

I first was given Habit Rouge as a present in France when I was 14, I must have bought over a couple of hundred colognes in my life but nothing has ever come close... The best part is every woman I have ever met has asked me what I was wearing and loved it!!!

Habit Rouge..I bought this for my husband 40 years ago and he is still enjoying it. I once found him in a crowded, Las Vegas casino by following his scent. How wonderful!

I have been using Habit Rouge, since I was 17yrs old in my country. Last year I bought5 bottles in Internet, now I can find it anymore. I would like to find a few bottles again with discount prices

Review of Habit Rouge
Habit Rouge has been said to be the masculine version of Shalimar. It contains many of the notes which make up the classic Shalimar but Habit Rouge holds the unique blending of leather in the base note and a deep spice in the middle which allows it to be truly masculine. A classic and a benchmark for all men's oriental scents to follow. The scent is powerful in its lasting ability but remains subtile and others will notice your fragrance in light haunting way.
