If you liked Balenciaga for Men, you'll like Yatagan because it's very similar - spicy and kind of smoky. Smells strongly of sage up top. Smells strong and spicy at first, but after about an hour, it really mellows out and becomes actually rather subtle and discreet.

Review of Yatagan
The first time I wore Yatagan I wasn't sure I liked it--my wife did, though. I thought I smelled as though I'd been smoking a brisket all day and standing downwind of hickory/pecan woodsmoke. I kept wearing it and I stopped smelling ONLY smoke and now just smell smoky good, just a pleasant, masculine scent. It doesn't last on me, though. I need 8 sprays at least to get the occasional whiff during the day. That said, it's a keeper.

Review of Yatagan
I've been wearing Yatagon by Caron for 30 years. It's my signature sent! It used to be only available on the foreign Market and was a challenge to getas were all the Caron fragrances. Now, though much more readily available from this online source, it seems to still remain somewhat unique and obscure.....which I appreciate. People still inquire about the unique fragrance I'm wearing.
