Boucheron Santal De Kandy

Woooow. I live very close to Mysore in India, the forests of which have the best sandalwood in the whole planet. We all have these high quality pieces of sandalwood from which, we make paste on a flat stone, and apply it on the forehead as tilak after prayers everyday. Some people apply it on their arms and neck as smell. This smells exactly like it. Makes me happy. I bought two samples and I have kept them like treasure. Every single time I apply it and go to a restaurant or shopping mall, I got multiple compliments from women. They asked me what I am wearing and said that smells divine. If Boucheron again produces it, I will buy 10 full bottles for sure. Highest quality sandalwood and truly unisex.

My husband very much dislikes most perfumes. I thought he would be working outside so I tried a sample of Santal. In he walks.! "Did you put on perfume?" "Well, yes I did?". He said, "it's very pleasant.: I couldn't get here fast enough to order a bottle or two! But alas, all sold out. Please restock quickly. I can't put a name to the mixture of lemon, sandalwood, etc., but that is ok. Indescribable is perfect for a signature perfume!

Perfectly unisex and would be a great everyday background or atmospheric scent. Upscale & sophisticated. Only bought a vial but this could very well be full-bottle worthy!

I like this. It starts out bright and a little sharp, but settles into a nice light woody scent that is not overpowering.
