I absolutely love this scene and wear it every day. I don’t understand the review of how it smells sour, nothing about this scent is sour. I love it so much that I’m looking for more products of this scent.

Hermès Eau de Rhubarbe Ecarlate was a big letdown for me. I really wanted to like it, but the scent just didn’t work. It’s supposed to have this fresh, rhubarb vibe, but to me, it smells more like something unpleasant—almost like a sour, vomit-like smell. The initial burst is sharp, but instead of being refreshing, it just comes off as too harsh and artificial. I was really disappointed because Hermès usually makes such nice fragrances, but this one definitely isn’t for me. If you’re sensitive to sour or tangy scents, you might want to skip this one.

I purchased this for my boyfriend and he loves this scent so much; he has the lotion and shower gel version. This scent smells amazing once its dried down, beautiful opening fresh scent and lasts hours, the scent only gets better with time.

This is such a a beautiful opening. Fresh and watery rhubarb and green notes. I don't really smell red berries, to me more like gentle tart notes, a non descript citrus like note. The musk is very subtle, very unisex. Smells like an exotic garden where it has just rained and dew everywhere. The down side, the scent disappears within minutes . No sillage. So sad. This is a pricey fragrance and would be well worth it if it had staying power.
