I had several favorites in the 70's and this was one of them. It's become one of my top 5 scents that I'll never stop wearing. Like many here, I couldn't find it for a long time before rediscovering it several years ago. I knew the formulation had changed but honestly it smelled almost the same to me. Hot humid weather seems to bring out all the best qualities of this wonderful scent, particularly the Sicilian Lemon and Oakmoss. Like that it doesn't smell like a bunch of other junk scents on the market these days. It's a classic for a reason!

I wore Diorella in the seventies and early eighties. It was my signature perfume. I wore many other fragrances over the next decades and couldn't find Diorella anywhere. When I discovered it on this site I had to try it again, though I was afraid the scent would have changed. As far as i recall, it hasn't! I was so excited to smell it again. It's just beautiful. Slightly floral, slightly citrusy, not overpowering, just gorgeous! A timeless fragrance. I love it!

Strange that "Nina" thinks this perfume is , "old fashioned". It's difficult to understand, except for the fact that everyone perceives fragrances differently. I have heard that some people can't perceive the smell of truffles. So sad!
