The original the L'Eau d'Issey has been my signature for over 30 years.I wanted a little change but still stay in a similar fragrance profile. I started with this rose version and I while I do love it - smells like the original with the scent of actual rose and maybe a little fruity. however does not last long on me-- unlike the original.I will purchases again as a backup but I still prefer the original.

Clean floral scent. Very green, springy almost wet mid notes. Great everyday. Doesn’t seem to last longer than 3 hours but with light scents that’s what you get. Doesn’t seem to have very strong projection either. But the smell overall is lovely

A more rosy version of the original which was to be expected. Not much else to say. If you like the original you will probably like this too. I noticed performance was a little better and this seemed to last a little loner as well.
