I adore this fragrance & ALWAYS get compliments on it. My Mom also loved this & I recently inherited her (almost full) bottle. I also had it years ago when it first came out but it is SO HARD TO FIND!!! It is a unique fragrance & has such a clean, fresh scent of outdoors. I so agree with Stephanie's review of it because having lived for years in northern MI, taking many walks in the woods. This fragrance is like bringing the sweetest, outdoor woodsy fragrances & blossoms to life on your body. I love it!!!! Buy it because it is worth every penny.

I started wearing Aspen when I was in my early 20's - I absolutely loved it. I live in Canada and to me it was the ultimate expression of 'being outdoors' especially where I lived in the Autumn. Oddly enough - to me it has the crisp but also warm hint of fallen leaves just beginning to decay. I know, I know - that's a strange description but it's the only way to put it. The poplar (Aspen) leaves fall to the ground and just as they begin to oxidize from the nighttime frost they have this aroma - not heady but it tickles the nose - of the leaves starting to breakdown. I can describe it no other way and the combination of this bottom note with the fresh air, fresh water and woodsy scents, to me, are one of the most easily wearable and enjoyable fragrances I have ever had. I was continually blown away by the fact that it was so reasonably priced and available. Until it wasn't. Now I can, hopefully wear it again.
