Calandre is one of the perfumes that I continuously go to. The fragrance is one in which I find it very difficult to explain. Yes, it is woodsy and flowery, but it's so much more and with notes which I cannot separate and and describe on my own. I love it with business suits and jeans, sweater, and boots. It works to make me feel unlike a sheep in a heard as so many other fragrances do.

It's been years since I've even seen Calandre and I have looked in old make-up cases that I have - and no luck. It was 1 of 2 signature fragrances that I've worn for at least 30 years - till everyone stopped carrying it. I finally have a computer so I can search - and am delighted to find it here. If you can find the body gel and lotion I'd gobble it up in a second. It's hard to rate Calandre because you can wear it for day or night and is , as Sharon says, whispery and feminine, and uniquely soft and I can't hardly wait to get some (unfortunately after Christmas), but I will be back! Thank you for carrying this product I'm elated!.

My dear mother gave me this fragrance when I turned eighteen. I am now sixty + and I still wear Calandre from Paco Rabanne, which is very difficult to find in France. Calandre is my number 1. Have the feeling to wear my mother every day. Number 2 is Jardins de Bagatelle from Guerlain.
