I do not like tbe opening of this at all. However, this is absulutly beautiful once it calms down. On me that takes a good hour or so (in warm weather, in cool weather it never seems to develop). It is a classic so very much a one of a kind. The only modern fragrance that seems even remotely similar is Lolita Limpicka by Lolita Limpicka. They both have anise and are both fairly sweet. To me L'Heuer Bleue is a summer scent and Lolita Limpicka is better for cool/cold weather. The longevity is my only complaint and the only reason it didn't get 5 stars.

If you want sexy, intriging, alluring then you want L'Heure Bleue. You'll wonder where it's been all your life. Nothing, and I mean nothing, comes close to it's wonderful scent. It becomes a very important signature perfume and one you will be pleasantly remembered by. In a word, "delicious."

L'Heure Bleue is an intriging scent. You'll be the Pied Piper with people following you asking for the name of your perfume. It's distinctive aroma lures all. It's been my favorite for 50 years and it's my signature. Those who know me, know when I've been in the room. In two words, L'Heure Bleue is "rich" and "sexy." Use lightly.

A beautiful, heavy, elegant fragrance, but with a more varied combination of scents. This will be fantastic for fall/winter. It's a bit too heavy for summer, unless its an important event. This is the heavy, beautifully sultry fragrance of a screen siren. Very feminine. Not the young girl type of scent, but a real vamp. What girl doesn't dream of being "That" girl.
