I purchased this not sure what to expect. I was thinking of maybe giving this as a gift to someone. The scent made me think of whimsical, sophisticated, carefree, enchantment at the beach and the person it most fondly reminded me of was my step-mother. Though it may be a lighter, easy scent, I feel it would best be suited for someone who has lived enough to have the above attributes under her belt. I will be giving this to my step-mother as a Christmas gift. :)

I LOVE this fragrance!! Issey Miyake Summer is my favorite fragrance these days. I get compliments on it all the time. It is fresh and light and I can really splash it on without any fear of overdoing it. I love a lemony scent, and this is the best I found anywhere since I found lemon verbana years ago. I tried to get this several months ago, and could not find it anywhere. Because everything I love ends up being discontinued, I was afraid that this was what had happened here, but thankfully, that as not the case. When I buy it, I usually buy two at a time because I really hate to be without it. Needless to say, I would recommend this fragrance to anyone who loves a light, refreshing scent...there's nothing like it!

This is a beautiful scent! It reminders me of my old favorite L'eau Lillian that you can't really find any longer. I will stock up on as many 2012 summer scents as I can, as I will be wearing it for years. I adore this clean scent!!!
