This scent is gentle but spicy not overwhelming but alluring. The aroma does not linger as long as the Creed or Sisley range but still a good purchase for those who like fragrances that don't enter the room before you do.

Feminite du Bois by Serge Lutens is a melange of woods, fruit, flowers, and spice that meld together in the most fascinating blend of fragrance! It's deep but not dark, rich but not confusing in its lushness. There are peach and plum notes I can make out along with cedar wood and a touch of patchouli, but there is so much more to the beauty of it than that! It lasts from 7-10 hours on my skin, and leaves a delightful trail of scent as I move about. Nothing heavy, nothing blasting! This isn't a perfume that enters the room before you do. The dry down is soft and lovely also, with woods taking center stage. If you love Oriental fragrances, somewhat mysterious, then Feminite du Bois is for you, too.
