I have used Chi pliable polish for probably 20 years and don't know of any alternative or substitute. My hair is naturally curly and wavy, salt and pepper and without a small application of Chi in the palms of my hand after showering while my hair is damp, my hair would look dry and dull. With a small application in the palm of my hands while my hair is damp, I run it through my hair and my hair looks healthy, not dry and dull, and the the salt and pepper glistens black and silver in the light, plus the hold is soft and natural to the touch and does not look or feel greasy, and no offensive smell whatsoever. The next morning and the morning after that, I just apply a little water to the palm of my hands and reactivate the Chi for the day.
