I absolutely love this fragrance. It is not too flowery a scent and it is not overpowerering and my husband loves it on me.

Beautiful camphorous rose-tchouli. Best for vold weather and not for everyone but perfect and a gteat value for the right person…me!

This scent is divine. I can't stop holding my wrist to my nose. The burst of pepper opening dies down to a very soft powdery scent with only a hint of pepper left. That for me is the most captivating aspect of it. I understand the comments about it being haunting or Gothic. It leaves you searching for a whiff of what you smell when you turn your head, only to find it disappeared already. It takes you back in time without smelling old fashioned, more like a pleasant memory of your favorite teacher, but still elusive, like a dream you can't quite remember. I also have a bottle of Mon Guerlain, and find this to be similar, but more subtle. Therein lies the only drawback for me. It last all day, but only with close contact. It's sillage is weak, if you're like me, and like to have enough of a scent trail for others to notice without being offensive.
