To me this comes across as a more feminine scent. While Encre Noir has a most definite masculine appeal (which I enjoy), this has a very lemon-ice up front vibe that quickly gives way to a mediocre encre noir base note with some florals. What it smells like to me is some of my moms Maybelline cosmetics from the 90s. The floral / wood scent lingers for quite a while, while the top notes disappear instantly. If you like muted floral/woodsy scent with a pretty flat profile with no throw, this is for you. This fits into the "how quick can I use up this bottle" category.
