This is a very inviting and approachable fragrance. The backbone of this scent is a warm vanilla / amber tone, supported by layers of complexity behind it. The other elements that come forward which give this fragrance its personality will depend on your chemistry, but on me it's very wearable as an every day scent. I like it during the winter, but have no problems wearing it during the warmer months as well. The one thing I find odd here, is that this scent is 175 USD when purchased directly from Diptyque. (Just sayin' let's not be playing games here.) Also, for clarity, since this scent is listed as Unisex, I am a male who is wearing this scent. Overall, a very nice scent. Worth trying.

I absolutely love Diptyque 34 Boulevard Saint Germain. It works so well with my body chemistry and I always receive so many compliments when I wear it. It is not at all cloying and certainly doesn't bother my allergies, which for me is a huge thing. Be warned though, it is spicy, so if you prefer a more floral, sweet scent you will not like this. The only reason I didn't mark it as 5 stars is due to the fragrance not lasting as long as I would like.

Diptyque 34 Boulevard Saint Germain I was hoping this was going to be a sandalwood type fragrance, but it is very spicy, very masculine, I waited for the changes that people said would happen, didn't seem to smell much different in the dry down either. the only way I will ever be able to wear this, is if I combine it with other sweeter fragrances. Otherwise I have wasted my money.
