The warm, spicy and aromatic fragrance of Adieu Sagesse is an appealing fragrance for women from the house of Jean Patou. At the start of this 1925 scent are notes from bergamot, lily-of-the-valley, black currant, neroli and narcissus. The center is filled with hints from tuberose, jasmine and carnation, while the notes of musk, vetiver and civet fill the base.

I bought this interpretation of a Jean Patou having zero experience with the original but having recently gotten Vacances and being intrigued by the notes of Adieu Sagesse. She is pretty and timeless. I like the drydown significantly better than the opening, as she gets more complex and rounded-out.

The best gardenia parfum I have ever tested. A wonderful classic bouquet of white flowers. I feel jasmine and tuberose. Long-lasting sillage. Pure classic.
