Melancholia by Liquides Imaginaires ... opens up with a fresh blast of herbs and citrus. I don't find this scent depressing at all but quite uplifting, unlike its name. I was hoping for a strong mint note which was present upon first spraying, but then some citrus and sweet notes became most prominent as if I had spilled sweet tea on myself. Overall, it was lovely for an hour then it was gone, which was when melancholia struck me. I tried this on a warm, humid August day too ... maybe some cooler temperatures would help it last longer? Lastly, the box, bottle, and perfume pouch are so beautiful, made with high-quality standards in that the cap fits securely on and the spray nozzle works well (unlike a lot of niche and mainstream brands I've tried so far). FragranceNet did a great job packaging and shipping fast through FedEx SmartPost too.
