Artisanal perfume brand based in Oslo, carrying the belief that there is a certain charisma in contradictions – such as savagery and love, gaucherie and elegance, bona fide rarity and character. “Malbrum” is the name for the mystic of fragrances, this mysterious ancestral need of men to mix different oils in order to get lost in the experience of smell. Misty and unresolved, as the “Brum” (adapted from the French word for “fog of winter mornings” but also “confusion status, uncertainty, mystery, …” – a word with common poetic roots in most Latin languages), where memories get vague and a stingy, cold, savage, bad (“mal”) sensation takes over those braves who dare to walk through.
