I used 4711 as a teen in my native Australia, then in Papua New Guinea where I lived and worked. I brought it with me to California and loved using it in the hot California summers and now that I'm living in the North East, some 40 years later, I find it the perfect fragrance for the hot, very often, humid summers. So from 16 to 66 it has been my lifetime fragrance. Lovely! The most wonderful thing is that my husband loves it too and when he ran out of shaving lotion I lent him some of my 4711. Now he uses nothing else. Wonderful for men as well as women.
