I love all the classic French fragrances .....especially Arpege! It never gives off those artificial or heavy or green notes that all the new scents do. I'm always surprised at the compliments I get because once I spray it on, I usually don't smell it. This will go from office to dinner and never fail you. Thank you for carrying this true perfume.

I first started wearing Arpege in 1966 when I was 16 and wore it until it was no longer sold retail in the states. About 9 years ago I found it in Nassau and bought a few bottles back with me. Luckily I found this site and have been ordering it for the last 5 years. It is my signature scent.

Ok, so I've always loved the 50's and I've been trying a few older fragrances and this is one that I learned was popular during that time. When I first sprayed it on it was incredibly strong and I thought "No Way...this is just too old lady-ish for me"...but after a short time, it sort of fades off to a lovely floral; a slightly powdery scent. It grew on me immediately. There is a sweetness to it that I must admit is very romantic but because this fragrance does have strong undertones, it carries a sophistication to it. The woman who wears this fragrance is a strong woman; she knows what she wants and where she's going but at the same time she's sweet and gentle. So glad I tried this -- I love it!!

I first fell in love with Arpege in college. I hadn't worn it for years until I saw it in another company's cataloge for full price. I bought a small bottle for $60 and when that ran out I didn't buy another bottle. Until I found it here at a much better price! I absolutely love the classic fragrance. It reminds of romantic summer evenings. While it can be worn daily, I like to save it for special occassions. It's a lovely classic fragrance that not everyone is wearing. I think that's what I like about it.
