I LOVE Burberry's The BEAT ! First, it's not over-powering, it's a subtle spicy scent that doesn't give me a headache. Rarely does a day go by when someone doesn't compliment me on the scent, whether in line at the post office or at the grocery store or the bank someone mentions it...ladies wanting to buy it for their men or just wanting to mention how much they enjoy it. I've even had men ask me what it is and where they can get it. The BEAT is a definite winner...try it!! .

I'm not sure how to describe this fragrance. It has elements of freshness, mixed with a sort of woodsiness that is not masculine. It is original; very individual; modern. I would recommend this for anyone between the ages of 18 and 65 who is "hip" and vibrant, who is feminine, creative, with a bit of edge. The body cream is especially delectable; a little goes a long way. My daughter, age 20, has worn this for two years now. She gets compliments and second looks because of it.

Burberry The Beat (for women) is light and fresh. It's very feminine scent without being too flowery. It does not have the "wow" of Burberry's "Society" - one of my favorite eau de parfums (no longer available). However, just about every time I wear The Beat I receive comments from both men and women complimenting me on this fragrance.

Burberry "The Beat" - Very tangy, crisp/sharp scent. Sweet & subtly fruit-like. Not what I was expecting but works well for a daily 8-5, something-to-make-you-smell-better-than-yourself cologne. Prefer Burberry Touch for a more manly, captivating aroma.
