Comptoir Sud Pacifique's Amour de Cacao is a beautiful gourmand scent. Great for someone who wants something yummy on their skin and not a serious perfume. I bought this as a cheaper version of my Montale Chocolate Greedy, so I could wear my expensive one for special occasions and have this one for the rest of the time. The fragrance has a vanilla base but the cocoa definitely is very prominent in the scent as well.

I love all the Comptor gormand fragrances and this is no exception. It has a soft chocolate-y scent but not overly sweet. To me, it also has a nice musky undertone. My only complaint is with the longevity of the scent. If you like gormand, you'll love this!

This smells like different types of chocolate to different people... some think of chocolate chip cookies, others of chocolate cake... and it makes some feel good and others feel hungry. You need a new choice for the scent classification.
