Chergui reminds me very much of Shalimar as it once was. It has all the warmth and elegance I remember, lingering on and on in a lovely spice and vanilla aura of scent. On my skin it was still perceptible after 24 hours and a shower

Serge Lutens Chergui is perhaps, the most sexually charged scent I have EVER encountered! Its, sensual and exotic, and has such richness to it, that I nearly fainted when I tried my first spray of it. Somehow the burnt orange combines with the amber notes to make this one of the most elegant of the Lutens fragrances I have tried.. It is unisex, and I feel most appropriate to wear in the company of someone you really love....because its THAT dangerous!!

Serge Lutens certainly knows how to make great scents. Chergi is a rich pipe tobacco scent with spicy notes of sweet balsamic and hay and good dose of Iris in the mix.
